Omàmiwinini Pimàdjwowin - Algonquin Way of Life Cultural Centre

Pete is a member of this charitable organization that exists in his home town. Omàmiwinini Pimàdjwowin is both a Non-Profit Corporation and a Registered Charity, established in 2002. Our Mission: to revitalize, reintegrate, enhance and protect the cultural traditions, customs, practices, heritage, language, and arts of the Algonquin Nation, and also regularly volunteers his time to fund raise for the Algonquin Native Elders of Pikwàkanagàn by giving talks and seminars on a donation basis.

August 4th, 2011: As a result of our fundraising efforts between Tania Frechette and The 8th Fire for events on and around the Summer Solstice, we have raised $1,265 for the Omàmiwininì Pimàdjwowin, The Algonquin Way Cultural Centre, a registered charity. Thank you Tania for all of your hard work and help. A big “Thank You” to all who participated and contributed to the OP!

August 4th, 2011: Algonquin Medicine Man & The 8th Fire have raised $2,304 for the Algonquin Elders of Pikwàkanagàn in donations through our “The End of Suffering” talks in Ottawa and Aurora, and furthermore we have added $940.50 in DVD sales for a total of $3,244.50. A big “Thank You” to all who participated and contributed to the Elders!
